Η θέση είναι για το Mountain View στη California και ο ρόλος είναι ο εξής:

Responsibilities

    Provide localization expertise and strategic insight to cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive Google’s product expansion globally and to ensure on-time delivery of Google's international site content with high linguistic quality.
    Drive localization program management for specific products or product groups from inception to launch, including scoping, resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting, as well as quality, stakeholder, and risk management.
    Manage all aspects of product localization finances, including budget and forecasting analysis.
    Spearhead department initiatives including translation quality, process improvements, vendor strategy, and tools improvements.
    Work collaboratively with the global localization team to drive efficiency and effectiveness of the localization process.

Minimum qualifications

    BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
    Experience in project/program management with a focus on large-scale projects and distributed teams.
    Experience with technology product lifecycle and/or localization.

Preferred qualifications

    Master's degree in a relevant field such as localization, computer science, or linguistics.
    Experience in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment with demonstrated ability to set up an organizational structure from the ground-up.
    Knowledge of internationalization and localization, ability to use or learn SDK or scripts when needed.
    Ability to thrive under pressure and function effectively in a fast-paced environment, providing strong leadership skills and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    Excellent communication skills.
